On September 14, 2025, BuildNation Ltd., Gana Unnayan Kendra (GUK), and Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on skill development initiatives. The primary goal is to create employment opportunities in local and International markets by providing inclusive skills training to unemployed and underemployed individuals, especially women and marginalized communities.
The MoU defines the roles for each organization. BuildNation will be the delivery partner, designing and implementing training programs and managing job placement. GUK will mobilize participants from grassroots communities and provide training facilities. YPSA will focus on mobilizing diverse groups, including youth and disadvantaged individuals, and will provide training venues.
To manage the collaboration, a Steering Committee will offer strategic guidance, and an Operational Secretariat hosted by BuildNation will handle day-to-day coordination. The first steps include launching pilot programs and creating a project plan to attract donor support.
This tripartite MOU was signed by Mr. Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director of BuildNation Limited and Mr. M Abdus Salam, Founder and Chief Executive of Gana Unnayan Kendra (GUK) and Dr. Md. Arifur Rahman, Founder & Chief Executive of YPSA.
