On the occasion of International Migrants Day and National Probashi’ Day 2025, Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) received a District Administration Honor/Award for its notable contribution to safe migration awareness and migrant welfare in Chattogram district.
The recognition was awarded at a program jointly organized by the Chattogram District Administration and the District Employment and Manpower Office (DEMO) Chattogram, on 18 December 2025, under the theme “Going Abroad with Skills, Building the Nation with Remittance.”
YPSA has been working for many years to promote safe, regular, and skilled migration through awareness-raising, prevention of irregular migration, migrant support services, and policy advocacy. The organization’s initiatives have contributed to protecting migrant workers’ rights and well-being at the community level.
Government officials, civil society representatives, and development partners attended the event. YPSA reaffirmed its commitment to continue working for safe and dignified migration in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
