A ‘Clean Environment School Campaign Programme’ was held at Pahartali Girls’ School & College to raise awareness among students about environmental protection and plastic waste management in the Chattogram City Corporation area.
The programme was held on Sunday, 30 August 2026, as a joint initiative of Unilever Bangladesh Limited, YPSA, and Chattogram City Corporation. The campaign featured an awareness session and quiz competition for students, focusing on responsible plastic use, waste segregation, recycling, and maintaining a clean environment.
The programme was addressed by S. M. Faisal, Public Relations and Projects Manager, Unilever Bangladesh Limited; S. M. Tareque Saifullah, Factory Director, Unilever Bangladesh Limited; Shah Mohammad Imran, Principal, Pahartali Girls’ School & College; and Dr. Md. Arifur Rahman, Founder and Chief Executive of YPSA.
The programme was graced by Ruhul Quddus Khan, CEO and Managing Director of Unilever Bangladesh Limited, as the Chief Guest. In his remarks, he highlighted the importance of active participation by the younger generation in environmental protection and responsible plastic waste management.
