Job description/Responsibilities:
The ‘PA Tech Livestock’ will work under the direct supervision of the Agriculture Officer (Tobacco Control Program) and will undertake the following duties and responsibilities, which are essential but not limited to:
- Primary Selection of the potential Beneficiary related to the livestock farming for implement demonstration
- Conduct regular field visit
- Proper follow-up running and previous demonstration
- Monitoring the regular farm operation feeding, cleaning, and providing bedding for livestock
- Identify areas of capacity building for training, livestock advocacy, farm day and workshop
- Monitoring the health of livestock, collecting samples for disease detection and reporting health and safety concern
- Ensuring proper Vaccination Schedule and Bio-security
- Always assist the Agriculture Officer for making monthly report and other activity of Organization
- Any other tasks, duties, or specific tasks assigned by the senior management of the organization.
Educational Qualification:
- Should have a para vet degree/ diploma in agriculture degree from a diploma institute.
Experience Requirement:
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in livestock sector (only full-time work experience after diploma will be considered).
- Relevant working experience with PKSF or any project funded by multi-lateral development partners would be preferred.
- Working experience in tobacco control related projects will be given preference.
Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge on Crop production, crop diversification, animal husbandry, climate change and vulnerability will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work in a team and with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good computer knowledge (MS office and relevant applications).
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years of age on the last date of application.
Monthly Salary: Consolidated 28,000/- and other admissible benefits as per the project approved budget.
Job location: Bandarban Hill district.
