Workshop on prevention and control of Malaria held in Rangunia

YPSA organized a workshop on the prevention and control of Malaria at the Sharafvata Union Parishad auditorium, Rangunia on 22 October. Sharafvata UP Chairman Alhaj Sheikh Farid Uddin Chowdhury addressed the workshop while Project Manager of YPSA Jigarul Islam Jigar presided over the workshop.

Among others, Maulana Nasir Uddin Alkaderi, freedom fighter Abul Kalam Chowdhury, UP member Jahangir Alam, Mahbub Alam, Mohammad Ali, Shirin Akhter, school teacher Noor Rashid, Bimal kani Nath, YPSA official Shahidul Alam were present. Various professionals, including representatives from local goverment, teachers, religious leaders, took part in the workshop.

“It is necessary to raise awareness among people in the prevention of the spread of mosquitoes to control malaria. It is possible to prevent mosquito breeding from cleaning the surroundings of the house. To ensure the use of insecticidal mosquito net to prevent and control Malaria.”  Speakers said in the workshop.
