Recently an agreement signed as Development Partner of each other between YPSA and Ranks Telecom Ltd. in the name of YPSA-RanksTel project with the view to providing telecommunication facilities through ICT among the poor and mid level people of Chittagong division, which will be contributing to reduce the poverty in this region. The main objective of this project is to increase the living standared of people of the working area especially the poor and disadvantage people through effective communication by the telecommunication technology.
As the primary target of the project, YPSA and it’s partner organization will bring the target prople under the coverage of RanksTel in the Ctittagong division. Mr. Md. Ashrafuddin Ahmed (FCA)-Director Finance of RanksTel and Mr. Md. Arifur Rahman-Chief Executive of YPSA signed the agreement. Among other Mr. Anwar Hossain-Director RanksTel, Mr. Karim Iqbal Buiyan-Manager Sales & Customer Service, Mr. Fakrul Arefin Khan-Assisstant Manager PCO business Development, Mr. Javed Parvez-Executive Sales from Ranks Telecom Ltd. and Mr. Nazmul Haider-Program Officer from YPSA were present on this signing ceremony.
