YPSA observed World Human Rights Day 2011 in Cox’sbazar. YPSA and Survivor Voice ‘Onirban’ organized Human chain at the District Administartion Office premises and handover a memorandum to the District Commissioner and Police Super of Cox’s bazar. Some recommendations added with the memorandum that urged to prevent trafficking and stop all types of violence against all trafficking survivors. Md. Joynal Bari, District Commissioner, Salim Mohammed Jahangir, Police Super, journalist, development activist and civil society representatives were present in the program.
YPSA has been implementing the project titled “Promoting Basic Services to Survivors in Trafficking through Integrated Approach” with the support of Winrock International and USAID.
