The BI Grantee meeting held to develop a set of recommendations for the Tobacco Control rules on 22nd September 2013, at UNINIG office in Dhaka which was hosted by YPSA. The meeting was headed by Md. Taifur Rahman, Advocacy Coordinator, of CTFK and facilitated by Ms. Ishrat Chowdhury, Technical Consultant-Bangladesh of the UNION.
Representatives from NTCC, ACLAB, ACD, UBINIG, Shimantik, PROGGA, NATAB, NHF-B, AUD, EC Bangladesh, DAM, WBB Trust and YPSA participated in the meeting. The participants have discussed about the draft recommendations prepared by YPSA and shared their comments on it. Some other issues were discussed regarding several upcoming activities of the BI grantees.
Mr. Nazmul Haider has given the welcome speech and Muhammed Ali Shahin from YPSA has delivered the power point presentation on the draft set of recommendation on the SF rules.
