Deputy Managing Director of Palli Karma Shahayak Foundation (PKSF) Dr. Jashim Uddin visited YPSA’s ENRICH program on 19 June 2014. He joined a meeting with ENRICH project staffs at Sayedpur, Sitakund. Md. Arifur Rahman, Chief Executive, YPSA, Mr. Manzur Murshed Chowdhury, Director (ED), YPSA, Program Officer, Finance Officer and other MF&ME project staffs were present in the meeting.
ENRICH is a PKSF supported program conducted at the grassroots level focusing for overall household development of the poor based on a ‘One Union One PO’ principle. The program targets poor families, working with them to enhance and maximize the utilization of their resources and skills. ENRICH aims to alleviate poverty not only through income generation but through a holistic approach targeting other crucial aspects of human life including health, education, youth development, community development, etc, the goal being sustainable development driven by the people themselves.
Later he visited YPSA HRDC Sitakund campus and Radio Sagor Giri FM 99.2 at Sitakund. He is pleased to see the progress done by YPSA.
