An opinion‑sharing meeting was held on 9 August 2026 at the YPSA Human Resource Development Center (HRDC), Sitakund, to discuss development activities implemented by YPSA with support from the Bangladesh NGO Foundation (BNF).
The meeting was attended by Mr. Iqbal Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury, former Secretary and Chairman of BNF, as the Chief Guest. Mr. Muhammad Hamidur Rahman, PS to the Chairman, BNF, and Mr. Md. Monzur Morshed Chowdhury, Director (Economic Development Department), YPSA, attended as guests. The meeting was moderated by Mr. Newaz Mahmud, Assistant Director, YPSA.
Participants discussed project progress, achievements, field experiences, challenges, and the positive impact of the activities on beneficiaries. They highlighted the importance of these initiatives in improving livelihoods, developing skills, creating employment opportunities, and promoting self-reliance.
After the meeting, BNF Chairman Mr. Iqbal Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury visited several project activities and interacted with beneficiaries. He learned about their experiences and the positive changes in their lives. He appreciated YPSA’s efforts and emphasized the importance of addressing local needs through development initiatives.
The meeting and field visit further strengthened the cooperation between BNF and YPSA and opened opportunities for future collaboration.
