In the fiscal year 2015-2016 Cox’s Bazar municipality allocated 1, 25,000 taka budget for tobacco control program. Cox’s Bazar Municipality has printed no smoking signage out of this budget.
The Uni Resort, one of the big Hotel of Cox’s Bazar has displayed the No smoking signage at their lobby on March 28, 2016. Mr. Subrata Kumar Ghosh, Assistant General Manager has taken this initiative inspiring by YPSA.
