High officials from GCERF visit YPSA in Cox’s Bazar

Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF) team visited different activities of YPSA CEVEC project during 10-11 August, 2017.

They travelled different Upazillas of Cox’s Bazar where GCERF funded activities are going on and observed different activities. They talked with change agents, members of target populationand other stakeholders.

On 10th August the team visited Sonar Para Ahamadia Sunnia Madrasha and Sonar Para High school to see the Life Skill Education (LSE) session for the students of Ukhia sub district. At this time they talk to the teachers of Madrasha (an institute for Islamic education), change agents and thank all of them for their supports. These activities were arranged by the consortium partner HELP Cox’s Bazar. After visiting school session they visit LSE session for youth group members at Ramu sub-district. At the evening they watched a folk show event at Samitapara, Cox’s Bazar and talked to the audience of the event.

On 11th August GCERF representative visited Maheskhali Island to see courtyard meeting and community engagement event. These events held at Choto Maheskhali union. The visitors talked with women of courtyard meeting. They thanked them to be part of CEVEC project and requested them to convey the messages to their family members and friends that they get from the session. Visitors were highly satisfied and they thanked YPSA for successful implementation of the project.
