YPSA has successfully completed the HERfinance project in Jamuna Denims Ltd. by digitizing 100% of the whole workforce and providing trainings to the workers about Financial Literacy. In this regard, the sustainability meeting and certificate handover ceremony in Jamuna Denims Ltd. took place in 15th of October, 2019. From all the stakeholders of this project Mr. Rezaul Karim country coordinator brand Inditex, Ms. SmitaNimilita country representative BSR, Mr. Nazmul Haider program manager & Ms. Jakiya Yasmin Trainer YPSA, Mr. S M Khaled Bin Halim, Mr. Jayantha chief operation officer Jamuna Denims Ltd. were present in the meeting. They shared their experiences and journey about the project in the opening session.
10 Peer Educators were given certificates for their contribution to the HERfinance project in the factory. YPSA also handed over a certificate to Jamuna Denims Ltd. for completing the project successfully.
However, Mr. AznabiM Nahid, Project Manager of YPSA tried to share some impact of HERfinance project in the factory in his presentation. Both of the female and male workers have got used to avail the services of Mobile Financial Services. They have better understanding of Financial Planning and Savings. They are also aware about making financial decisions jointly. The women workers are seen to contribute more in the decision making process in their families now.

YPSA started implementing HERfinance Project in Jamuna Denims Ltd. on 25th July, 2018 with a kick off meeting. With the account opening to salary disbursement (step by step) and providing trainings on Mobile Financial Services, Products and Services, Financial Planning, Budgeting, Savings and Talking about Finances YPSA has digitized the total workforce. Thus, Jamuna Denims Ltd. is a success story for YPSA regarding financial inclusion in RMG sector.
