YPSA distributed sewing machines among 20 small women entrepreneurs under the project “Women Empowerment through Skills Development” supported by Bangladesh NGO Foundation (BNF), on 24 December 2019 at the YPSA-HRDC Sitakund. Member of Parliament Alhaj Didarul Alam was present as chief guest at the sewing machine distribution ceremony.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Sitakund Upazila Milton Roy, Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Sitakund Upazila Syed Mahabubul Haque, Sitakund Upazila Parishad Women’s Vice Chairman Zainab Baby Juli, Upazila Women’s Affairs Officer Nazmun Nahar, Upazila Youth Development Officer Shah Alam, Upazila Education Officer M. Nuruchachapa were present as guests of honor.

For the last three years, YPSA has been implementing this project in Sitakund Upazila with the support of Bangladesh NGO Foundation (BNF). BNF is a self-governing body under Financial Institutions Division of Ministry of Finance, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Md. Arifur Rahman, Chief Executive of YPSA is a member of the General Body of BNF.
