For three years in a row, YPSA has been recognized as the Best Migrant-friendly Non-governmental organization in Chottagram.
The Chattogram District Employment and Manpower Office has awarded to YPSA on the occasion of International Migrants Day 2020 on December 18. YPSA is dedicating this impeccable achievement to all the migrant workers and their family members killed in the global epidemic Corona. Sincere thanks and gratitude to all the members of the YPSA Safe Immigration Program.
YPSA has been working of the rights of migrant’s workers more than a decade with the collaboration of Government and different development partners in Bangladesh. Chattogram is the second largest migrants sending district in Bangladesh. Most of the migrant workers in that region are still unaware of safe labor migration and not informed the services of government and private agency. Moreover, the services of public and private service providers are limited here. In that context, migrants worker are easily subjected to harassment and fraud by informal institutions and personnel. Moreover, COVID-19 has therefore worsened this situation of migrant’s workers. YPSA has been working on overcome this issues.
