YPSA CEVEC Consortium funded by GCERF organized Youth Social Hackathon- 2022 as 2nd round to know the Implemented result & impact in Society on Preventing Violent Extremism, Gender Based Violence & Response COVID-19 effects. As well as, social hackathon, an event dedicated to Idea generation & Implementation to solve the specific problem.
16 March 22, The 20 YPSA CEVEC Consortium Hackathon Awardee presented result based “Short Film Presentation” on preventing Violent Extremism, GBV & C-19 at YPSA HRDC Campus, Ramu, Cox’s Bazar.
As a youth-friendly organization, YPSA believes that youth have a huge role to play in GBV, PBV and Covid-19 issues. In the Hackathon (2nd Round)-2022, among implemented notable ideas are Photo exhibitions on prevention of violence against women, youth parliament in debates, street drama (PATH NATAK), social solidarity in tournaments, Media Chat, We for change, debate contests, Inter- faith cultural contests, Stop child marriage. Celebrating Inter-faith Cultural Week, Sports Week, Wall Writing & Drawing Competition, Song Festival, Drama Staging, Mass Music & Folk Song , Couple Gathering, Mobile Library Establishment & Quiz Competition etc. In that Context, Youths are planned for their Ideas sustainability & coordinated with YPSA’s youth based intervention.
