An agreement signing ceremony with 25 microcredit institutions certified for National Identity (NID) verification at the Microfinance Credit Information Bureau (MF-CIB) was held on March 11, 2024 at the MRA conference room on the initiative of the Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA).
The agreement was signed by the Executive Director of MRA, Muhammad Mazedul Haque and the Founder and Chief Executive of YPSA, Md. Arifur Rahman. MRA’s Executive Vice Chairman Mr. Md Fashiullah was present as the chief guest at the signing ceremony.
MRA Director (Admin & HR Department) Mr. Md. Nure Alam Mahadi, MRA Director (CIB Management Section) Mr. Mohammad Abdul Mannan and Director of YPSA (Economic Development Department) Manzur Murshed Chowdhury were also present.
Microcredit Regulatory Authority is the central body to monitor and supervise microfinance operations of non-governmental organizations of the People Republic of Bangladesh under Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance.
