Different program have been organized on the occasion of World AIDS DAY 2007 observed under the project YPSA-GFATM at Comilla and Cox’s Bazar.
Chief Guest was Mr. Monjurur Rahaman, Deputy Commissioner of Comilla in the Rally and Professor Dr. Abdul Haque, Principal, Comilla Medical College was the Chief guest in the Discussion meeting. YPSA and its Strategic Partners participated in the Rally as well as the meeting. Participation of more then 400 Young people in the rally was a magnificent and fabulous event in this year.
District Information Office of Cox’s Bazar had been organized Rally, Discussion and Cultural program on AIDS day at Cox’s Bazar from 1 to 3 December 07 and programs are supported by District Administration and UNFPA. Discussion meeting was presided by Mr. Sajjadul Hasan, DC, Cox’sBazar and Chief Guest was Mr. Abdul Mannan, Director General, Department Of Mass Communication of Bangladesh Gov. Special guest were Mr. Banaj Kumar Majumder, Police Super Cox’s Bazar, Dr. Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, Residential medical officer, District Hospital.
YPSA and its strategic partners PHALS and PRATTAYA was setup stalls to raise awareness about the risk and prevention of HIV/AIDS. Various kinds of publications, Brushers, Posters and Brief Card on HIV/AIDS were displayed at these stalls.
