A 5 day long training program on Life Skill Education (ISE) to resist HIV/ AIDS and to aware garments workers against the deadly disease was concluded yesterday at YPSA office premises.
This project is being implemented under GFATM-912 package. Twenty members from ten non-govt. social development organizations of the city were imparted with master trainer training on LSE in the program, says a press release.
Professor Dr. AQM Serajul Islam, Dr. Bhagyadhon barua, Akber reza, farhan idris, Lutfunnahar and Masud Rana conducted the training programme under the project titled Primary prevention of HIV/AIDS and Risk reduction through work place intervention at Garments Industries. Around 50 workers of several garment factories and trainers participated in the training.
