“Capacity building training on volunteerism” successfully completed at Banskhali Shilkup Government Primary School during 25-26 October with the support of VSO Bangladesh. The citizen committee of Shilkup received this training. The main objectives of the training program are to develop the attitude & behavior about volunteerism among the community.
At the beginning of this training program Kristel Vaarties , international volunteer from VSO, Bangladesh spoke about volunteerism & shared her experience and endeavor on this issue . She is very impressed to see the participant’s interest and motivation. Participants were also expressed their commitment to work on this issue with self esteem.
They also expressed their commitment to organize an Eye camp for poor community people who are suffering a lot in this problem. The whole training facilitated by Mohammad Omar Shahed, Monitoring Officer, NSU, YPSA. Sanjida akter, field trainer of YPSA’s Networking and Support Unit (NSU), Kallayan Barua , field officer, NSU were present in the training .
