As the Rangunia Upazila is estimated as High-risk Malaria Zone, YPSA distributed Insecticide-treated mosquito net to the 24 thousands poor families last year to prevent Malaria. Other 16 thousand poor families will be provided mosquito net during the current month. State Minister for Environment and Forests Dr Hasan Mahmud was present as chief guest in the mosquito net distribution ceremony in Rangunia on 27 March. Abdul Kayum Talukdar, UP Chairman of Kodala presided the program. Tanvir Azam Siddiki, UNO, Dr Bijon Kanti Biswas, Upazila Health Officer, Khalilur Rahman Chowdhury, President of Upazila Awamilgue, Mahbubar Rahman, Director (Field Operation), YPSA were present as special guest in the program.
