DC office of Noakhali declared that all premises under the DC office has been “100% Smoke Free” while Chief guest of the meeting Md. Sirajul Islam DC of Noakhali Zilla gave commitment in a meeting titled “To create Smoke Free environment and our responsibilities” held at conference room of DC office Noakhali on 18th August’11. Mr. Dr. Ahmed Hossain Khan, District Civil surgeon and Secretary of District Smoking and Tobacco control task-force committee was present as a special guest. During the meeting, a smoke free coalition has been formulated by the active members of civil society groups and local government representatives.
