Smoke free guideline is approved by the Mayor of the Brahmanbaria pouroshova and the coalition members of Brammanbaria pouroshova have committed to support the Meyor or Pouroshova to implement this guideline. The declaration to approve the guideline came in a meeting held on 25th March 2012 in the conference hall of Brahmanbaria pouroshova. The mayor Mr. Md. Helaluddin and the meeting was presided by Alhj. Noore Alam Siddique, vice chairman of Brahmanbaria Upazilla porishad and addressed by Mr. Abdul Wahid Khan Lablu, Ex-President, Red crescent, Alhj. Md. Shah Alam, Secretary, Restaurant owner’s association, Mr. Riaz Uddin Zami, Secretary, Press Club and several other councilors, political leaders, NGO representatives, Journalists, business leaders attended the meeting.
