YPSA and Solidarity with the support of Displacement Solutions jointly organized advocacy meeting on “Rights of Climate Displaced People” in Korigram District on 20th November’12. YPSA’s Housing, Land and Property Rights Initiative project arranged this meeting for different NGOs and Civil Society groups in Korigram.
Mr. Harun ur Rashid Lal; Executive Director of Solidarity chaired this meeting. Mr AKS Samiul Hoque Numtu President of Anti Corruption, Kurigram district unit also join as the Chief Guest and Mr. MD Kaziul Islam former chairman of kurigram Pourashava, Mr Ahasan Habib Nilu; general secretary of Kurigram press club, Mss. Samima Akter Jamin President of violence against woman kurigram unit, Mr. Md Nurun Nabi Sharkar President of SUPRO kurigram unit, educationist, Ms. Sabina Afroz from MA Degree college kurigram and representative of erosion affected people from this area were present in the meeting.
