Mr. Mir Rakib Ahsan, Chief of Party, Counterpart International (CPI) has visited the YPSA-LDP office at Comilla on 23 November, 2014. Md. Abdus Sabur, Project Coordinator of Leadership Development Program of YPSA welcomed him in the office and handover the token of appreciation for outstanding leadership and guidance for implementing the Leadership Development Program in Bangladesh. Mr. Rakib Ahsan and Program Officer of CPI Ms. Mehnaz Morshed attended a coordination meeting with YPSA-LDP team .
After finishing the meeting they have observed the field level activities like Social Mapping and Participant data collection for the leader selection process in East Jorekanan and Bagmara Union of Comilla Sadar South Upazila. In this Upazila, YPSA will create 1008 young and community leaders who will act as an agent of change and make advocacy for democracy and good governance at the community level.
