“Employment of children to the risky industry is not desirable. Government committed to eliminate child labour in risky industries. I will provide all sorts of support to implement any project regarding child rights. “ said UNO of Sitakund Shahin Imran while he was present as a chief guest in a project launching ceremony titled “Securing better future for the working children “ held on 23 August 2015 organized by YPSA with the support of World Vision. The objective of the project is to provide long-term training to the number of children in Sitakund area to build their capacity for non-risky job. They will be supported to get non-risky job after completion of their training as well, said Muhammed Ali Shahin, Program Manager of YPSA.
Upazila Education Officer Nur Shafa; Contact person , Child Development project, World Vision Robert Komol Sharkar, Monitoring Officer Rabiul Karim were present in the program.
