With the aim to empower youth, especially girls and young women, by strengthening their skills and voices for economic self-reliance to take a leadership role in poverty alleviation initiatives in Cox’s Bazar district and Dhaka, YPSA and HOPE’87 Bangladesh jointly are implementing a project on “YES Center- Youth Empowerment through Skills” with the support of Esprit in collaboration with YOU Foundation-Education for Children in Need (Germany).
Under this project 6 types of management training are providing to youth. In the meantime YES Center Cox’s Bazar arranged 11 training sessions where 125 youth received those training. As a part of the management training, ICT (Computer) training of 7th batch and 8th batch was started on 3rd August 2017 at the YES Center Cox’s Bazar where a total of 22 youth students are participating. It is three month course and will be facilitated by experienced and skilled trainers. The training of both batches has started with an induction session where all students, trainers and YPSA staffs were present.
