Professor Dr Hafiz T. A. Khan, International Adviser of YPSA, recently visited YPSA’s “Elderly People Friendly Space” at the Rohingya Refugee Camp in Ukhiya Upazila under Cox’s Bazar District. He also made several discussion meetings with YPSA staffs. Based on the field visit and meeting with YPSA staffs, a joint research article titled “Elderly Persons in Humanitarian Emergencies in Bangladesh: Qualitative Experiment on Dreams and Reality” was prepared by the professor Khan, Md. Arifur Rahman, Mohammad Shahjahan and Morshed Hossan Molla.
This article has been submitted to ‘International Conference on the Rohingya Crisis in Comparative Perspective, UCL. The conference was held at University College London (UCL), UK from 4–5 July 2019. Prof. Khan presented this article to this conference on 5th July 2019 under the theme of ‘Health, Education, and Well-being’.
