Mr. Md. Arifur Rahman, Chief Executive, YPSA visited YPSA GFA programme in Rohingya Camp on 17 November, 2022. Dr. Shamsun Nahar Chowdhury Lopa, a prominent Educationist and Social Researcher, accompanied him during the visit.
He visited the D-05 outlet at camp 2W being operated by YPSA with support from WFP. About 11,709 Households with 55,717 individuals receive General Food Assistance from the outlet. They observed the outlet transaction and operation process. Also, they visited different facilities, service points, Retailer Shop and Fresh Food Corner of the outlet.
After their visit they interacted with outlet staff and volunteers about food operational issues. Besides, they inquired about how the beneficiaries are being benefited by taking various complaints through helpdesk. The D-05 Outlet Help Desk Officer briefed them help desk CFM (Complain and Feedback Mechanism) process.
The Senior Officer (Rapid Response), Mr. Adil Md. Nizam Uddin briefed the intervention and food operation process as well as Outlet Supervisor Mr. Sobuj Kumar Parther and Assistant Outlet Supervisor, Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim also briefed the different operational updates and YPSA team’s new initiatives.
Finally, Chief Executive Mr. Md. Arifur Rahman expressed his satisfaction over the hard work of YPSA-GFA team and also encouraged them to keep up the good works for the wellbeing of the Rohingya community people in the camps. Then, he wrote his comments and signed the D-05 Outlet Visitor Book.
