The Government of Bangladesh has established Bangladesh NGO Foundation (BNF), an organization under the Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance, to support the NGOs in Bangladesh. The founding anniversary of BNF (BNF DAY-2022) was observed at the YPSA Head Office in Chattogram. Executives and senior officials from BNF affiliated organizations working in Chattogram were present in the event.
Member of the General Committee of Bangladesh NGO Foundation (BNF) and Chief Executive of YPSA Md. Arifur Rahman was present as chief guest at the discussion meeting and cake cutting ceremony.
He said that BNF’s partner organizations are making an important contribution to reducing poverty at the grassroots level, providing basic services to the poor, people with disability and underprivileged people of the society and development of their socio-social development. The government should provide more support to increase the involvement of NGOs in the development of the country.

Palash Chowdhury, Director (Finance), Md. Manjur Morshed Chowdhury, Director (Economic Development) and Dr. Shamsun Nahar Chowdhury Lopa, a prominent Educationist and Social Researcher also spoke on the occasion of BNF Day.
