YPSA Celebrates Safeguarding Mentees at Certification Ceremony

YPSA is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of children and adults it serves. The Safeguarding mentorship program equips participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent harm, harassment, bullying, abuse, and neglect within the organization and the communities they work with. Said Md. Arifur Rahman, YPSA’s Founder Chief Executive in a Safeguarding Mentees Certification Ceremony held on July 18th, 2024, at its Head Office in Chattogram.

Abdus Sabur, YPSA’s Safeguarding Focal, provided a detailed presentation on the program’s background, methodology, and the significance of robust safeguarding practices.

Md. Arifur Rahman emphasized the importance of a strong safeguarding culture within the organization and the community it works with. He expressed his gratitude to RSH Bangladesh Hub and FCDO for their support in this initiative and congratulated the mentees on successfully completing the program. He also highlighted their vital role in promoting a culture of safeguarding and building inclusive spaces within YPSA.

Senior YPSA officials joined the ceremony to celebrate the graduates. Each mentee received their certificate amidst applause and cheers, acknowledging their dedication to safeguarding principles. The certificates, provided by RSH Bangladesh Hub, symbolize not only their program completion but also their readiness to make a positive impact on both the organization and the personal development of those they serve.

The Safeguarding Mentees Certification Giving Ceremony stands as a testament to the dedication of individuals and organization committed to creating safer communities and workplace. As these mentors step into their new roles, they carry with them the knowledge and passion to advocate for and protect those in need.
