YPSA organized 5 advocacy meetings with the CEHAT (Community Emergency Health Actions Team) members at four Upazilas of Cox’sbazar district during the month of June of 2015. First two meetings were held at Chakaria Upazilla on 13 June. Total 52 CEHAT Members and community leaders participated in the meetings. Social activist of Chakoria upazila Mr. Abu Noman was present as a guest in the closing ceremony. Other 3 meetings were held at Kutubdia, Pekua & Moheskhali Upazilla. Dr. Md. Shahabuddin, UH& FPO, Kutubdia Upazilla was present as a chief guest in the meeting which was held on 22 June at kutubdia.
Total 24 CEHAT Members and Civil society representatives participated in the meeting. Total 25 CEHAT members were present in the meeting at Pekua on 22 June which was presided over by Alhaz Md. Ali Hossain. The last meeting was held at Moheskhali Upazilla on 23 June 2015. Newly elected Upazilla female member Mrs. Nurun Nahar presided over the advocacy meeting and 25 CHEAT members and Civil society representative atteded the meeting.
YPSA Program Manager Md. Sirajuddin Belal & YPSA-IOM Health & WASH project Coordinator Md. Harun facilitated those meetings. All participants have given their commitment that they would continue their health related activities within their community.
