Annual General Meeting and Executive Committee Election of ADAB, a coordination body of NGOs in Bangladesh, was held on 23 January 2016 at the CBCB Centre, Mohammadpur Dhaka. Ms Rokeya Kabir, ADAB chairperson presided over the meeting. Annual report and audit report of previous year and budget as well as work plan of next year have been approved. After the general meeting, executive committee election was held for the year of 2016 – 2017.
17 people were elected from national and local level organizations. Executive Director of CCDB Mr. Joyanto Adhikari has been elected as Chairperson and Executive Director of Dwip Unnayan Sangstha Mr. Rafiqul Alam elected as vice chairperson for the ADAB executive committee.
Md. Arifur Rahman, Chief Executive of YPSA was elected as the member along with other 13 members.
