Mr. Vashkar Bhattacharjee, Head of the ICT and Resource Centre on Disabilities (IRCD) of YPSA and National Consultant on Web Accessibility, Access to Information (a2i) Programme, Prime Minister’s Office of Bangladesh has joint the Global Alliance on Accessible Technologies and Environments (GAATES) as a board member. GAATES is the leading international organization registered in Canada dedicated to the accessibility of the built environment, transportation and information and communications technologies.
We appreciate Mr. Vashkar Bhattacharjee for expanding his role with GAATES by joining their board as a member. We hope his leadership in the field of accessible ICTs for persons with disabilities will enhance the work of GAATES.
