YPSA celebrates BNF Day

BNF Day observation

“As the partner of the government, NGOs are playing a genuine role in the development of Bangladesh. In recognition of this, some development organizations or NGOs in Chattogram have been included as partner organizations of the Bangladesh NGO Foundation (BNF), an organization under the Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.”, said Member of the General Committee of Bangladesh NGO Foundation (BNF) and Chief Executive of YPSA Md. Arifur Rahman in a discussion meeting on the occasion of Bangladesh NGO Foundation (BNF) Day.

The meeting was arranged by YPSA on December 2, 2020 at the conference room of YPSA Head office. Representatives of BNF’s partner organizations and officials from YPSA were present.

“Through BNF, a unique bridge will be established between the government and the NGOs working in the country. The progress of the country will be accelerated if development activities are conducted on the basis of consensus and partnership of all.” Mr. Rahman added.

Among others who spoke at the meeting were Chief Executive of Sangsaptak Liton Chowdhury; Executive Director of Upakul Samaj Unnayan Sangstha Mohammad Jobayer Farooq; Samata Mahila Samaj Unnayan Sangstha Coordinator Md. Nurul Alam Manik; BORNALI Project Director Soma Dutt, Rehabilitation Center for Prostitutes and Routless Children (Park) Project Coordinator; Md. Ismail Mintu, General Secretary of Nari Jagran Rinki Dev.

Md. Arifur Rahman was given congratulations flower for being elected a member of the BNF General Committee.
