A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between YPSA and Handicap International Federation to working together under the project “ Disability-inclusive poverty graduation of extreme poor and poor Households in Bangladesh” funded by DFID . Both organizations agreed to collaborate on disability mainstreaming with in Micro Finance and Micro Enterprise Program.
As part of the project, Handicap Int’l will provide intensive capacity building support to YPSA for selected people with disabilities who graduated out of extreme poverty in Sitakund Upazila of Chittagong District, will be supported by business development services and loan capital to start their own businesses and income generation .
MOU was signed by Ms. Michaela Zalmai, Program Director of Handicap International Bangladesh and Mr. Md. Arifur Rahman, Chief Executive of YPSA.
