Shamsud Douza Nayan, Additional Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner and Deputy Secretary, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, has highly praised YPSA’s project interventions while a courtesy meeting held at the Office of the Refugee Relief & Repatriation Commissioner, Cox’s Bazar on 30 September. Assistant Director and Head of Rohingya Response Program, YPSA Mohammed Shahidul Islam has presented the humanitarian assistance program for forcibly displaced Myanmar citizens or Rohingyas and the host people.
YPSA has produced various Flipcharts for yard meeting on the role of Rohingya women, Rohingya youth and Rohingya Majhi in establishing social harmony and peace, under the project “Community Engagement in Countering Violent Extremism in Chattogram Division (CEVEC)”.
The Commissioner Shamsud Douza Nayan has received Flipcharts during the meeting.
YPSA has been implementing the project Community Engagement in Countering Violent Extremism since 2016 with the support of Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF) and direct involvement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Bangladesh.
