YPSA-Leadership Development Program organized an Union Parishad Orientation for Local leadership development on July 5, 2015 at Khayachara Union of Mirsarai Upazila. Md. Jahaed Iqbal Chowdhury, Chairman of Khayachara Union Parishad was the chief guest of the program and inaugurated the meeting. Md. Mobarak Hossain, Program Officer of YPSA-LDP facilitated the Union Parishad role for local leadership development and highlighted the different public orientated activities of Union Parishad.
Md. Jahaed Iqbal Chowdhury said, this orientation with UP body, 9 Government service providers, YPSA’s Community and Youth Leaders concept is a new dimension for the development sector. I hope that this kind of meeting will help peoples about the different social activities of Union Parishad, and service providers will be increased from now on. In this UP orientation program, 12 ward commissioners, Secretary, 9 Service, community and youth leaders and local influential persons attended the meeting.
