YPSA LEAD Bangladesh project, supported by the British Council Bangladesh has provided small grant to 40 social action project leaders and climate activists to work on climate change in Chattogram and Sitakund Upazilas. The grant disbursement ceremony was held on 18th July, 2022 at the YPSA head office Chattogram.
These Social Action Projects are working in the community level addressing the global goal SDG-13 that brings huge impact in the community level by implementing several climate change related social action projects. Young people’s dedication, commitment and responsibility to work for climate change issue is really praiseworthy which leads to sustainable positive change in community level.
YPSA Deputy Director (Social Development) Nasim Banu, YPSA Program Manager and Youth Focal Abdus Sabur, YPSA Program Manager Urban Development Farhana Idris, YPSA LEAD Bangladesh Project Coordinator Mohammad Jashim Uddin, YPSA Project Officer Shovan Chowdhury were present in this grant disbursement ceremony.
